Kitsap County
Puget Sound Energy has served the electric needs of Kitsap County customers for more than 80 years. Today, PSE serves nearly 117,000 electric customers in the county.
In addition to PSE’s 1,334 miles of neighborhood distribution lines, 122 miles of high-voltage transmission lines, and 23 substations, PSE is proud to be making a number of future investments in the county. These investments include adding fiber optic lines for improved communication to our substations in North Kitsap, constructing nearly 40 miles of new high-voltage transmission lines, and completing the rebuild of the Bremerton substation in 2009.
During the past four years, Kitsap County customers taking advantage of PSE’s Energy Efficiency Services programs and rebates have saved more than 21.4 million kilowatt hours of electricity, enough to power about 1,850 homes.
In addition to providing safe and reliable electric service, PSE currently offers incentives to make homes and businesses more energy efficient, provides low-income assistance, and supports a variety of community programs.
We look forward to serving customers in Kitsap County for decades to come.
