Important notice for PSE customers about a proposed electric-bill change
The Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) on May 21, 2007, suspended Energy Exchange Credit payments to Northwest investor-owned utilities. These payments represented the benefits of low-cost federal hydropower for the utilities' residential and small-farm customers. Because of the BPA action, PSE on May 23 filed a request with the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission (WUTC) to in turn suspend this monthly pass-through credit on PSE customers' bills.
